The Chairman’s Address

　Sakyamuni Buddha once counseled his disciples “To make a drop of water inexhaustible, it is necessary to put it into the sea.” We can learn much from this counsel and use it as guide for our company. In order to achieve sustainable development and growth, we too must put ourselves into the sea, but our sea is the community, and to be a part of it, we must serve the community in everyway that we can. Our philosophy that we “Serve the Country and Payback the Community”, is not an empty slogan, it is the very foundation of our company and it is has become necessary to take on greater social responsibility in order to promote growth. Treat the world with a tolerant heart; with a happy heart greet the world, and change lives; with a heart filled with gratitude embrace the world, and create better lives.
　People are the greatest asset that we have in our company, it is you that drives our growth, makes us competitive, enables us to be sustainable; you are the foundation of this company. We adhere to a management philosophy that focuses on creating a people-oriented environment, we believe strongly that this is the best way to allow each person to achieve their potential. We encourage our managers to do all they can to help each employee develop their talents, and realize their potential.
　Capital is the blood that fuels the growth of any enterprise, however, we should not merely seek growth for the sake of growth, but we must seek sustainable, steady growth. Only by working towards continued growth can we ensure that we will be strong in the future, only then can we protect ourselves against market risks, and only then can we guarantee that we can be prosperous in the future. In order for us to continue to grow we must constantly be looking for, and cultivating new business opportunities, and thus growth will naturally occur. As we embark in new business ventures we must remain vigilant, and enter into business only after we have diligently researched the market and made decisions based on our findings. While our business is ever-changing and growing one thing must remain steady in order for us to be successful, our integrity. We have built a brand based on a strong reputation of honesty, value, and quality. If we maintain our core principles we will be successful no matter what business we engage in. It is important for the Group to diversify our businesses into a forest, rather than an interconnected chain. If a chain breaks then it is rendered worthless, if a tree falls in a forest the forest is still standing, and is still strong.
　Over the course of the last sixteen years we have experienced many ups and downs, we have had tremendous joy and also sadness. The success we have had cannot be separated from the policies of the government, and from many friends throughout our society, but more importantly, our success has been achieved through the hard work and sweat of the people that make up the New World Group. We have a very fertile business environment in our country, and particularly Shenzhen, and you have showcased your talents through the success of our company. I am full of thanksgiving at this moment and I say to you, Thank You!
